Francisco Sionil Jose






 Francisco Sionil Jose is a Filipino writer who writes in English. His novels and short stories dealing with the social foundations of class struggles and colonialism in Filipino society. José's works have been translated into 22 languages.

I met him first time at a conference of the Akademie Iserlohn in autumn 1985. It was about "Contribution of the literature on intercultural communication" among others the example of the literature of the Philippines and of the chief guest Sionil Jose.

Jose Pitok Blanco

Jose Pitok Blanco is one of the most famous Painter of the Philippines. His painting represent the Filipino cultur and tradition in a style called realism.

We met us in Manila 1988 and spend some very good hours together. Theire i took the photographys.






His big painting "Angono Fiesta" took 2 years to finish
